VARIO OPTIONS

The FROG VARIO introduces a new level of sophistication and precision to dry material application.

Based on the innovative Frog application bucket system, the addition of the Vario 28V control gate provides the ability to precisely govern and control the discharge rate in a manner unavailable until now. With the optional flow rate measuring system and integration with existing GPS systems, the Frog/Vario can control the discharge rate irregardless of variations in A/C speed.

Basic flow control

*28V powered “iris” control gate with an adjustment range of 100 positions between closed and fully open. *Settings and in flight adjustments made with in-cockpit keyboard.

*Powerful linear actuator motor exerts 200 pounds of force at gate to break the most stubborn clogs.

Flow Rate measuring system:

*Continuos cockpit read out indicating pounds per second flowing regardless of material density, no more need for calibration flights

Integration with GPS ground speed output.

Ties gate opening to ground speed, automatically compensates as A/C slows or accelerates - This Option needs Options 2 & 3
